The new building project is both exciting and mind boggling with the short fuse requirement to come up with the 3M initial funding to acquire matching loans from the Diocese. This is a beautiful challenge for our community. I propose that the funding committee consider the following breakdown to facilitate the identification of response capability from our families:
20 families at $10K = $200K 25 families at $ 9K = $225K 30 families at $ 8K = $240K 40 families at $ 7K = $280K 50 families at $ 6K = $300K 60 families at $ 5K = $300K 70 families at $ 4K = $280K 80 families at $ 3K = $240K 100 families @ $2.5K= $250K 100 families @ $ 2K = $200K 200 families @ $1.5K= $300K 200 families @ $ 1K = @200K --------------------------- 975 families = $3,015K (81.25% of 1200 families) IF WE GET 100% RESPONSE, the rest of the congregation gift will get us close to $4M.
I am wondering what is being done to close the very large gap between what has been pledged/collected and the amount that is needed. Is the project going forward? If not, what becomes of the contributions that were already made? Admittedly, we have been travelling this summer and haven't been at St. Bernadette's every Sunday, but I haven't heard/seen an update other than the chart that is in the Gathering Space.

60 families at $ 5K = $300K
70 families at $ 4K = $280K
80 families at $ 3K = $240K
100 families @ $2.5K= $250K
100 families @ $ 2K = $200K
200 families @ $1.5K= $300K
200 families @ $ 1K = @200K
